The Department of Defense continued its controversial mandatory anthrax vaccinations program despite high ranking Bush administration officials acknowledging there were problems with the vaccine within months of the Bush administration taking office—well before the 9/11 attacks and the October 2001 anthrax letters.

A 2001 memorandum from former White House Deputy Chief of Staff Karl Rove to then-Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz indicates that the White House knew of problems relating to the Gulf War Syndrome and the military's controversial anthrax vaccine.

Obtained by RAW STORY earlier this year from a senior military official and referenced in today's New York Daily News, Rove wrote, "I do think we need to examine the issues of both Gulf War Syndrome and the Anthrax vaccine and how they can be dealt with. They are political problems for us."

RAW STORY had held off printing the memorandum (which appears below) in an effort to validate its authenticity. Along with the memo, Rove noted that he had attached "material on the Anthrax vaccine problem," which had been forwarded to him by H. Ross Perot. He titled it "GULF WAR SYNDROME AND ANTHRAX."

"It didn't bother me that Rove referred to it as a political problem at the time because it meant that it would be properly dealt with, finally," the military official who leaked the memo said, speaking on the condition of anonymity. "The political problem became a problem to me when they dropped the ball and allowed the program to continue. It was politics that motivated them to investigate and it was politics that motivated them to allow the program to continue. Now the political nature bothers me."

The Apr. 25, 2001 memo indicates how long and how far up in the administration the anthrax vaccine—and Gulf War Syndrome—have been considered problematic.

The Pentagon's anthrax vaccine is manufactured by a single contractor, Emergent BioSolutions. It has been plagued with complaints from soldiers and soldiers' advocates, who assert that the vaccine causes myriad debilitating ailments.

The Defense Department was forced to halt mandatory injections in 2004 after a judge ruled that the FDA had not approved the vaccine for its intended use. In 2006, the military resumed mandatory vaccinations after FDA approval, citing letters laced with anthrax in late 2001 as a reason.

Questions about the mailings containing anthrax have re-emerged in the wake of a suicide by a biodefense researcher. At the time of his death, Bruce Ivins, 62, was under federal investigation for the 2001 anthrax attacks that left five people dead and more than a dozen sickened. In a Wednesday joint FBI and Department of Justice press conference, while not officially closing the case, Assistant Director in Charge Joseph Persichini of the FBI Washington Field Office said, "Bruce Ivins was responsible for the death, sickness, and fear brought to our country by the 2001 anthrax mailings."

The leaked memo also comes on the heels of an announcement by the Department of Homeland Security, which has proposed giving the city where Emergent BioSolutions is located $946,520 to protect the company's facilities. The grant, according to an article in the Lansing State Journal, would "purchase, install and deploy the eligible Homeland Security equipment and manage related law enforcement protective actions."

A New York Times article following Ivins' death highlighted a number of tensions between public safety and biodefense research, centering around the question: "Has the unprecedented boom in biodefense research made the country less secure?"

Pentagon maintains vaccine is safe, requires injections

Despite repeatedly maintaining it is safe, documents obtained by Raw Story last year showed that the Pentagon and medical military personnel have known since at least 1998 that there are genetic triggers between illnesses and some required immunizations. They also revealed the military knew and did not implement routine pre-screening which could help reduce vaccine-related illnesses.

A flyer posted by the Vaccine Healthcare Center in 2007 showed that Walter Reed solicited servicemembers who have suffered as a result of the vaccine, asserting that “adverse effects may include redness or swelling where the shot was given (larger than the bottom of a soda can) and/or more than 24 hours of headaches, muscle/joint pains, and/or fatigue (tiredness) that interfered with your daily activities.”

Texas billionaire and onetime presidential candidate H. Ross Perot testified to a Congressional committee in 2002 regarding issues with the vaccine and its manufacturer.

"BioPort is a mess," Perot said, referring to the Pentagon contractor, which has since changed its name to Emergent BioSolutions. "BioPort should not be able to keep that contract. For years they never met any goals or objectives...For years they got bonuses that equaled or exceeded their salaries and didn't accomplish their goals."

"The damage that was done to our Tigers in the Armed Forces is incredible," he added. "Hundreds of pilots have left the Air Force rather than take the shot. $6 million to train one pilot. That's a high price to pay, right?"

Ivins had worked on producing an anthrax vaccine. Documents presented by federal prosecutors paint a portrait of a paranoid man who suffered delusions. Their evidence against him, however, has been questioned. Sources who spoke to the press said that the Justice Department was close to charging Ivins when he took his own life, but that they still had more investigating to do. The Department asserts that Ivins acted alone.

Iowa Republican Sen. Charles Grassley (R-IA), has called for a "full-blown accounting" of the probe, which cost taxpayers $15 million and took seven years, according to the Washington Post. Democratic Rep. Rush D. Holt (D-NJ), who represents the region the deadly letters were mailed from from, says hearings should be held as to "why investigators are so certain that Ivins acted alone."

Soldiers of the world, if able, would benefit from the ability to reduce the amount of equipment needed to survive in various warfare environments; such as Nuclear, Chemical, and Biological attacks.

The bulkiest of this equipment would be the MOPP gear. This stands for Mission Oriented Protective Posture, or "MOPP".

The four levels include a Gas-Mask, Footgear, Gloves, and a Body-Suit.

Each article requires extensive maintenance and training to be used effectively.

In some instances however, the Bio-Chemical being used may penetrate this line of defense.

This is a real threat to the accomplishment of a mission if troops cannot operate in certain environments. All an opposing force would have to do to deny terrain or equipment from capture is spray it with a Bio-Chemical to make it useless and inaccessible to less prepared troops.

Therefore, an internal protection, or "ANTIDOTE", would be highly advantageous. If this antidote is used in combination with an agent that will penetrate all other defenses the enemy has, it can also be used effectively as an OFFENSIVE WEAPON. Attacks with this "agent", followed by an attack of "prepared" troops, unhampered by extra (MOPP) gear, into affected areas, would ensure victory in all circumstances.

If an enemy were to be attacked, simply line up prepared soldiers in usual gear (instead of in MOPP Suits) on the border of the soon to be invaded territory, and send aircraft to spray the areas ahead with a penetrating agent. Following this spraying, the prepared troops enter the area with no opposition and claim the properties.

To enable this to happen, research and development of new technology would have to be done. This experimentation, while having a beneficial outcome for soldiers in the end, would lead to quite hazardous conditions for those IN THE TRIAL RUNS !

As has been said - this story is both fictional and FACTUAL. All that remains to be done to make this scenario a reality is for Governments of the world to ADMIT to what has ALREADY HAPPENED TO TROOPS, on very recent battlefields of the world ! <Gulf War>

Mission:

An Apache Helicopter hovers over the tree-tops several miles away from a "secret" jungle headquarters. Inside, the pilot watches his gauges on the dash; among them is a television screen. It is divided into four parts. Two sections show a view to the left and right, showing nothing but the night sky. The view ahead shows the heat signatures of about thirty ground-troops and vehicles moving quietly around under tree cover in the camp.

On his dash, a light changes color from Red to Amber. He reacts by pushing a button to activate his laser-guidance system. The rocket launchers on the side of the helicopter now have seen their target - the encampment ahead. This button also sends a message to the occupant of the fourth part of his screen; a Huey UH-1 Troop-Carrier, hovering about a mile behind the Apache near the tree-tops.

Neither chopper is seen or heard by their intended victims.

Inside the Huey, six men wait. They wear only combat fatigues and camouflage paint, besides their usual gear and weapons. A light turns from Red to Amber inside their compartment, as well as in the front where the pilot can see it. All six men, along with the two pilots reach into their pockets and withdraw a small blister packet. Each takes one pill from this packet and swallows it.

The pilot of the Huey checks to see if all passengers have taken their pill, then signals the Apache pilot with another pushed button on his dash. The Amber light turns Green in the Apache. The pilot reaches for the Fire Control Switch and releases two missiles toward the camp. He watches their trajectories, guiding them into an exact location. They land, and explode with a DULL THUD; almost a popping noise.

The Apache pilot waits, watching the heat signatures on the screen. On the ground near where the missiles have landed, the grass is withering. As the effect spreads further from the impact area, troops are seen to fall over, holding their throats and gasping for breath. This effect spreads to the area used by the troops. Eventually, the heat signatures on the screen in the Apache are reduced to the point that they no longer register as active, or ALIVE.

When the last heat signature/mark fades from his screen, the Apache pilot hits another button, sending a message to the Huey (indicating) that this part of the mission is done and there are no ground troops registering as alive in the camp. This done, the Apache helicopter swings into an arc and leaves the area silently.

In the Huey, the Amber light turns Green, and the pilot starts his run on the camp. The men in the back see the light change and begin to ready their ropes for the decent. The chopper is over the camp in minutes. It then descends to about fifty feet, allowing the troops to rappel out. Once on the ground, they signal the Huey to leave. It does, and the troops proceed to enter the camp.

All around them, the destructive force of the two missiles can be seen. The plants near the impact site are brown and burnt looking. The troops they find are in contorted positions, suggesting that their deaths were anything but pleasant. The troops walk around in this devastation with no protective gear or masks, BECAUSE - they are protected from within.

Once they arrive at the main tent, they enter to find two people fallen over on a table. On that table, there are various maps of the surrounding terrain, as well as plans for their next actions to come. These were the leaders of the group in the encampment, obviously talking about what they would do next. The invaders stride over to the table and remove the papers. Some have to be pried from the lifeless hands of the two dead leaders.

When this is accomplished, the leader of the invaders takes out a small radio and signals the Huey to do a run and pick them up. All of this has occurred within about fifteen minutes.

When the Huey lands, the men get back in and store their gear in airtight bags to reduce the possibility of contamination of other personnel who have not taken "the pill".

When the helicopter arrives back at base, it will have to be decontaminated along with the gear worn. The papers will be copied, the originals destroyed for the same reason.

THE MISSION IS A SUCCESS.

Once looked at in this light, it can be quite clear what recent events and experiments on troops would lead to such advancements in BIO-CHEMICAL WARFARE "defenses", from within. It is a sobering idea to be faced by an enemy capable of such destruction, invisibly, quietly, especially one with no qualms about using all powers at their disposal.

Lets hope the world learns from its mistakes, before it happens AGAIN, this time closer to HOME.

Book Claims White House Forged War Intel --"The Way of the World" Alleges U.S. Faked Letter That Linked Iraq With 9/11 05 Aug 2008 A new book published Tuesday accuses the White House of trying to manipulate intelligence to support the war in Iraq, reports CBS News. The book, by author Ron Suskind, charges that the Bush White House faked a letter from Saddam Hussein's intelligence chief connecting Iraq with 9/11 and an ongoing nuclear program - neither of which was true. This letter, in the handwriting of Tahir Jalil Habbush al-Tikriti, is dated July, 2001. It says that Iraqis hosted Mohammed Atta, one of the 9/11 'hijackers...' The letter goes on to suggest that Iraq was importing uranium from Niger for a nuclear program. The book alleges that Habbush, Saddam's intelligence chief, was in CIA protective custody after the 2003 invasion, that the White House ordered CIA officials to have Habbush write and backdate the letter, and paid him $5 million. The author quotes two former CIA officials who claim to have seen a draft of the letter on White House stationery. Suskind writes: "The idea was to take the letter to Habbush and have him transcribe it in his own neat handwriting on a piece of Iraqi government stationery to make it look legitimate. CIA would then take the finished product to Baghdad and have someone release it to the media [lapdogs]."

A Putnam County veteran who was taking medication prescribed for post-traumatic stress disorder died in his sleep earlier this month, in circumstances similar to the deaths of three other area veterans earlier this year.

Derek Johnson, 22, of Hurricane, served in the infantry in the Middle East in 2005, where he was wounded in combat and diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder while hospitalized.

Military doctors prescribed Paxil, Klonopin and Seroquel for Johnson, the same combination taken by veterans Andrew White, 23, of Cross Lanes; Eric Layne, 29, of Kanawha City; and Nicholas Endicott of Logan County. All were in apparently good physical health when they died in their sleep.

Johnson was taking Klonopin and Seroquel, as prescribed, at the time of his death, said his grandmother, Georgeann Underwood of Hurricane. Both drugs are frequently used in combination to treat post-traumatic stress disorder. Klonopin causes excessive drowsiness in some patients.

He also was taking a painkiller for a back injury he sustained in a car accident about a week before his death, but was no longer taking Paxil.

On May 1, the night before he died, Johnson called his grandfather, Duck Underwood, and asked if he could pick up his 5-year-old son and take him to school the next day. Johnson and his wife, Stacie, have three children, all under 6 years old. Their car had been totaled in the accident the previous week.

When Underwood arrived to pick up the boy the next morning, his knocks were not answered at first. He heard Stacie Johnson screaming. She opened the door and told him she couldn't wake her husband. They called paramedics, who could not revive him. Doctors did not declare an immediate cause of death.

Toxicology and autopsy results could take as long as 60 days, authorities told the family.

"I want to know the cause of death," said Ray Johnson, Derek's father. "Stacie said he was fine that night. Everything was normal. He kissed her goodnight and went to sleep."

Stan White, father of soldier Andrew White, has become an advocate for families of returning veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder. During his son's struggle with the disorder and since his death, White has tracked similar cases. He knows of about eight in the tri-state area of Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia.

He and his wife, Shirley, introduced themselves to the Johnsons and Underwoods at Derek's funeral and offered their help. He is in contact with the office of Sen. Jay Rockefeller, D-W.Va., who is a member of the Veterans' Affairs Committee. Rockefeller requested an investigation into these deaths, which is ongoing, said Steven Broderick, the senator's press secretary.

"When I talked to his family about Derek, I realized it was the same old story," said White. "It was all too familiar. He was taking those same drugs as the others, and, yes, I believe they are still prescribing that combination."

After speaking with family members, White wonders if the patients are taking the medicine as prescribed. He said PTSD patients suffer short-term memory loss and shouldn't be relied upon to track their medications.

Georgeann Underwood agrees.

"You shouldn't put vulnerable, mentally unstable people on drugs like that," she said.

An outgoing, personable young man who worked at several jobs to support his young family, Johnson frequently was offered other jobs by customers in the stores where he worked, Underwood said.

In 2006, he returned from the Middle East depressed and short-tempered. Johnson had operated an M249 Squad Automatic Weapon, or rapid-fire machine gun, and rarely spoke about his experiences there.

After his military prescriptions ran out, Johnson's medications were prescribed by private physicians because he refused to go the VA hospitals where he said he was required to wait long periods of time for appointments. His grandparents paid for his medications.

"He had a very short fuse," Ray Johnson said. "That was the biggest difference in his personality after he came back."

Until his death, he worked 12 or 16 hours a day. He was an electrical apprentice at the John Amos Power Plant until he was let go when his work hours approached the union limit for apprentices. He was on his way to apply for another job when the car he drove was rear-ended on April 24.

Johnson died May 2.

American soldiers attributed to Iraq Wars says U.S. government data

According to U.S. media reports, there are well below 5,000 U.S. soldiers who have been killed in Iraq. However, this data appears to be very misleading. Why? Because many tens of thousands of American soldiers have apparently been killed to-date, as a result of being exposed to radiation poisoning from the indiscriminate killing machines of U.S. military weaponry. Ironically, the only Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) that Americans soldiers have found in Iraq are "Made in America".

U.S. investigative researchers have discovered an official U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs official, but not well publicized count, of 73,846 U.S. soldiers who have perished as an apparent result of Depleted Uranium based bio-chemical warfare exposure. This exceeds an estimate of 58,000 U.S. soldiers who had been killed in relation to the Vietnam War.

Well over 200,000 American soldiers could be killed by 2010, as a result of the after effects of exposure to U.S. dirty bombs.

Over One million U.S. soldiers have apparently been disabled from Depleted Uranium based biochemical exposure. Over one million Iraqis have also been documented to have been killed.

Indonesia accuses US of bird flu plot

THE Indonesian Health Minister has said the United States and the World Health Organisation are part of a global conspiracy to profit from the spread of bird flu and the US may use samples to produce biological weapons.

The views of Dr Siti Fadilah Supari, outlined in her new book, threaten to undermine efforts to control the spread of avian influenza. With 104 deaths, nearly half the world total, Indonesia is the new hotspot for the virus.

Despite claims by the minister that she has agreed to share virus samples and allow all nations access to resulting vaccines, Indonesia is still blocking sharing samples from human victims.

Applications to send more than 200 samples from chickens to an Australian laboratory had also been refused, inquiries by the Herald have revealed.

In the book, Dr Supari writes that WHO laboratories forwarded influenza viruses to Western companies so they could profit by selling vaccines back to developing countries: "The system of world health management has been very exploitative. It has been controlled by inhumanly desires, based on the greediness to raise capital and to control the world."

Some Indonesian samples had been sent to a US Defence Department laboratory, Dr Supari says, adding that "some of our seed viruses had been in a laboratory known as a facility developing biological weapons in a superpower country".

Privately, officials said Dr Supari's belief that she was engaged on a God-driven crusade against an evil and "neo-colonialist" world health system - on the book's cover she describes herself as the "divine hand behind avian influenza" - had caused her to lose touch with reality.

The President, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, appears to have endorsed the book, having written its introduction.

Dr Yudhoyono supports Dr Supari's claim that the virus is under control in Indonesia, stating the "occurrence rate and the number of affected areas are decreasing".

The WHO declined to comment and no US officials were available.

Scientists developing 'countermeasures' for bubonic plague, anthrax, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, Q fever, tularemia, brucellosis or undulant fever; researching flu, tuberculosis and SARS

A high-security laboratory where deadly microbes are being grown by scientists seeking defenses against terrorist attacks began operating in Livermore last week without public announcement, and opponents said Friday that they will go to federal court in an effort to close the facility down.

Built inside the closed campus of the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, the facility has been controversial ever since it was first proposed by homeland security officials more than five years ago. Tri-Valley CARES, the East Bay watchdog group that has long fought nuclear weapons research there, has led the fight against it with protests and legal actions.

The facility is known as a Biosafety-level 3 laboratory where highly trained workers, high-tech airlocks and extremely rigorous safety measures are required by federal rules in order to contain any of more than 40 potentially lethal disease-causing bacteria, viruses and fungi stored inside.

The National Nuclear Security Administration, an agency of the Energy Department, which oversees the Livermore site, announced Monday only that it had "granted approval" for Livermore to begin operating its new biosafety laboratory.

But the announcement did not disclose that the facility had already opened and that its scientists had begun working there the previous Friday - a fact that immediately outraged the lab's opponents.

Robert Schwartz, the staff attorney for Tri-Valley CARES, said he will file suit in federal District Court next week to shut down the facility on the grounds that the final environmental impact statement published by the lab's oversight agency was inadequate and that another supporting document was released without public hearings in violation of the Energy Department's own rules.

In October, the Ninth District Court of Appeals in San Francisco had overruled an earlier federal court decision in support of the operation of the Livermore facility. The appeals court required officials to prepare a new environmental statement, including an assessment of the possibility that a suicide attack by terrorists could breach the facility's walls and allow killer germs to spread beyond the lab.

In response, the security agency filed a document that said such an attack would be "highly unlikely," and that it "found no significant impact" on the public or the environment from operations at the germ research facility.

A spokesman for the Energy Department's nuclear security agency at Livermore told The Chronicle that its office manager approved the final revised environmental documents on Jan. 25, and that scientists began work at the lab the same day.

Asked why the press release on Monday did not disclose that the facility was already operating, the spokesman said "because we needed the time to physically copy the documents and place them in the public reading rooms as well as post them on the Web."

Eric Gard, director of the new facility, said Friday his staff is now growing live cultures of many disease-causing organisms that could be used by terrorists in enemy biological warfare attacks and for which laboratory scientists will seek to develop countermeasures. Understanding the phenomenon of resistance to antibiotics is a high priority, he said.

Among the microbes held in the laboratory are bacteria that cause such highly dangerous and often deadly diseases as bubonic plague, anthrax, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, Q fever, tularemia and brucellosis or undulant fever, Gard said.

But scientists in his lab will also be researching other microbes unlikely to be used in terror attacks and that pose such major public health problems as tuberculosis, flu, and SARS, the severe acute respiratory syndrome that proved so deadly among elderly people in China, he said.

The scientists are barred by federal rules from conducting any research using germs for "potentially offensive use or purposes," nor for the production of any bio-warfare weapons, according to the Energy Department.

Continuing its opposition to the Livermore facility by Tri-valley CARES, Marylia Kelley, the organization's executive director, charged in a statement Friday that the lab and its sponsors "are jeopardizing the health and safety of the local community and the surrounding Bay Area." Live anthrax germs grown in the lab and released into the air from the facility, even if it were only "lightly damaged" in a terrorist attack, for example, "could result in up to 9,000 deaths, depending on wind patterns," Kelley maintained.

"It also means that sick people are being treated as criminals and enemies of the state rather than individuals in need of care."

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. policy in preparing for a potential bird flu pandemic is veering dangerously toward a heavy-handed law-enforcement approach, the American Civil Liberties Union said on Monday.

The group, which advocates for individuals' legal rights based on the U.S. Constitution, said federal government pandemic plans were confusing and could emphasize a police and military approach to outbreaks of disease, instead of a more sensible public health approach.

"Rather than focusing on well-established measures for protecting the lives and health of Americans, policymakers have recently embraced an approach that views public health policy through the prism of national security and law enforcement," the ACLU report reads.

But the U.S. Health and Human Services Department (HHS) said the group had misunderstood the government's approach and said current plans already incorporate many of the ACLU's recommendations.

Infectious disease experts agree that a pandemic of some sort of influenza is inevitable, and most worries focus on H5N1 avian influenza. Although it mainly attacks birds, the virus has infected 349 people since 2003 and killed 216 of them.

A few mutations could turn it into a highly infectious disease for people and could kill millions globally.

Most countries are working to develop plans to deal with the potential consequences. The U.S. plans are available on Web sites such as http://pandemicflu.gov.

The ACLU said it was worried that the plan called for military and police involvement in enforcing a quarantine.

The ACLU experts said they were especially disturbed by an October executive order from President George W. Bush that directed HHS to establish a task force to plan for potential catastrophes like a terrorist attack, pandemic influenza or a natural disaster that would ensure full use of Department of Defense resources.

The Bush order does not specify what the Department of Defense role would be, but also mentions military medical research facilities that have played a role in health for decades.

"Pandemic planning today tends to emphasize mandatory vaccination and forced treatment," the ACLU's Tania Simoncelli told a news conference.

"It also means that sick people are being treated as criminals and enemies of the state rather than individuals in need of care."

The ACLU said plans should focus on how to help people stay home without losing pay, and instead of merely advising citizens to stockpile food, should provide for ways to help them do so.

HHS spokesman Bill Hall said the government plan stressed community and individual involvement.

"They have mischaracterized our planning efforts. They are confusing a containment attempt as our overall pandemic response once the virus has spread beyond our ability to stop it," Hall said in a telephone interview.

"Respecting civil liberties has been an important component of our pandemic planning."

He said many of the recommendations ACLU makes, such as voluntary vaccination and treatment, were in the plan.

We understand in real life no such televised interview would have taken place, that an uncredited doctor claiming to have a vaccine cure for cancer would be interviewed on CNN much less that it would take GOVERNMENTAL APPROVAL to administer the (pardon the jab - inoculation) vaccines to the civilian population and as in real life today, it is the government who grants immunity from prosecution to the vaccine manufacturers and those who administer them to you, your DOCTORS in civilian life and in the MILITARY.

The subtle admission: "The virus transforms all that contact it into vampires" - and "...all the patients that were cured are either dead or have become the "infected" (vampire-like creatures that feed off other living creatures...) is your next RED FLAG.

The real TRUTH is: THE VACCINES that were administered (injected to inoculate) into the bloodstream of HEALTHY PEOPLE caused the VIRUS and the VIRUS later becomes AIRBORNE (they don't explain how - now read what Peter Kawaja has been saying for 18 years).

Based on the real-life (US-SVCP), and via Bushes (health) Freedom Initiative (> Now Bush wants to test every American for mental illness--including you! And guess who will create the tests?) with mass vaccination programs starting with our US Military service members, and fast forwarded in Operation Desert Shield 1989/1990 under the guise (and today still under that same disguise - cloak) that Iraq obtained bioweapons and used them against us/the world (the disclaimer), everyone must be vaccinated, by injection, food, air, or water.............. The movie confuses your mind, because you don't think there is any urgency to do something, else - if there was a real threat to your life and humanity, like the movie, Hundreds of Millions would drop dead, like FIVE BILLION in the movie, and gee - if you were the only person in New York left standing, YOU WOULD GET IT RIGHT AWAY, but because you don't see (in real life) the millions slowly dying from CANCER(s) all over the world (called also AIDS/HIV, etceteras), or other MYSTERY DISEASES (causes) under CANCER, you think nothing, you don't see what is happening slowly all around you, it is simply a cleansing, a slow dying off of a sickly population. What you do not see is your DNA being changed, the human race is MUTATING and has been for some time now..

The movie did not show you the horror of those FIVE BILLION dying in pain and suffering, being eaten by already infected others, else you would have a different outlook. You also saw a HOLLYWOOD ENDING, and although the hero died, we are shown salvation, we see the beauty of the landscape untouched in Vermont, and the FALSE HOPE that even though over FIVE BILLION perished, somehow the world will still be inhabitable, food and water will not be affected and YOU think YOU will be one of those who will not see it IN YOUR LIFETIME. The human population is slowly changing and dying off, we are mutating...............

Well, for the record, in real life, my blood contains the immunity for having survived 18 years after my attempted murder by injection (I was pricked...). I have been fighting to stay alive for the day enough people on the planet stand up to do something for humanity. The Israelis know it, as why they took hair samples from my head when I lay on a hospital bed many years ago surviving my infection.
